In addition to his artistic activities with Superamas for over 20 years, he has taught at the Bruckner University Linz, SEAD Salzburg, ImPulsTanz, Takween-Maqamat/Lebanon, Tanzhaus Düsseldorf, Maison de la Culture Amiens and was coach of the Atlas programme at ImPulsTanz from 2014 to 2018.

He has also worked with visual artists such as Markus Schinwald, Claude Wampler, Isaac Julien and Aldo Giannotti.

In 2016, Riéra will launch the HUGGY BEARS programme together with Caroline Madl.

After all, he has been a mentor for more than 30 projects over the past 15 years and can draw on extensive experience and impressive expertise.

He also taught at the circus school "L'école du Cirque Jules Vernes - Centre de formation professionnelle" in Amiens.

Furthermore, through his work with Superamas, Riéra has a large network in the performative field, which he can make available to the new generation.

Philippe Riéra would have appeared as a performer in the world premiere of Markus Schinwald's play "Danse Macabre" at the Wiener Festwochen 2020. The premiere was postponed to 2021 due to Covid-19.

Since autumn 2020 Philippe Riéra has been on the jury for the tour and residency funding programme ACT OUT, which is managed by IG freie Theater for the BMEIA.
